Michelle Vs. Ann...Who Wore It Best?

My first segment of Who Wore It Best is dedicated to this year's election. The two top trend setters right now are Mrs. Michelle Obama and Mrs. Ann Romney. These ladies have been going toe toe in their own battle of who wore it best throughout the entire election.

Both of these ladies are undeniably first-lady stylish, but this win goes to Michelle Obama, hands down.

The time to vote for your President is hastily approaching. November 6, 2012 sets the date that will inevitably change our nation. This election has sparked not only interest and excitement of the younger generation and college students but also celebrities.

 In the last couple of weeks numerous celebs have shown support for their presidential candidate. Many of which has caused controversial uproars through the media. Making fashion statements is the latest use of publicity endorsements, and is one that I, myself am a fan of. Celebs such as Katy Perry and Lisa Raye are a few who shown their support through fashion.

Whether your 18 or 118, young or old, college student or business owner, fashion bum or fashionista make sure you get out there and vote. It is super important that you not only know who your voting for but what your voting for people, and now you can do it in style.

Trendy Fall Prints: Houndstooth & Baroque

Baroque is a high fashion vintage print inspired by the 17th century era. With this print you will usually see Michaelangelo inspired shapes spiraling up the silhouette of the female's body. Designers such as Dolce & Gabanna, Prada, and Roberto Rimondi have used the ornate prints in their fall 2012 shows.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Houndstooth

 

Houndstooth is a cozy fall trend that has been around forever. Adding this print to an outfit is an easy way to add warmth with a hint of sophistication to your fall/winter wadrode. A checkered print inspired by canine-orthodontia, this trend has been incorporated into many fall lines. Gwen Stefani uses it in her L.A.M.B. collection. What's On Izzy...Brandy Two Eleven Album

Look what I Got....

This album is amazing, a perfect comeback for Brandy. This has personally been a highly anticipated album for me. I literally waited up all night to buy it on iTunes. It's still the Brandy we know and love with some modern twists. There are some tracks that take us back to her "I Wanna Be Down" days, and then there's 2012 club bangers like "Put It Down". The whole album itself is a great body of work; an album you can listen straight through without pressing that next button. My favorite tracks would have to be "What You Need", "Put It Down", "Slower", "No Such Thing As Too Late" & "Let Me Go".

My Two Eleven jam session started at 12:36 am and still going strong(yes I got this bad boy on repeat). But for real its getting late and my eyes are screaming at me so I'm going to head to bed now. Side Note: Highly anticipating Kelly Rowland's album and the countdown begins...
